Below I’ve gathered all the inner city screenshots from Rockstar and this city is looking AMAZING! The amount of depth into the lighting alone is absolutely stunning. If you pay close attention in the trailer you will notice as they drive around the way the light bounces through tree leaves, clouds, buildings and the reflections that go along with it are incredible!

GTA 6 Locations Guide: Everything We Know About Leonida So Far

Ambrosia

Ambrosia is Leonida's rural industrial heartland, sitting right beside Lake Leonida. Sugar refining is the backbone of the local economy — community mapping efforts have pointed to something like an "Allied Crystal Sugar Mill" anchoring the area — and outlaw biker culture runs deep here, with motorcycle clubs and gang conflict defining a lot of the criminal landscape. It's old-school American grit rather than coastline glam: factories, freight depots, and working-class infrastructure instead of skyscrapers. The real-world inspiration leans toward northern Florida and formations like Providence Canyon in Georgia.

Grass Rivers

Rockstar's version of the Everglades, and exactly as swampy as you're picturing. Grassrivers is a sprawling wetland region packed with mangroves, gator-infested swamps, and airboat routes that get you around faster than any road will. It's turned out to be bigger than a lot of early theories gave it credit for, and it sits in the southwest portion of the map — the kind of region where the "main roads" are optional and the wildlife is not.

Leonida Keys

The Leonida Keys are the tropical island chain riffing on the real Florida Keys, connected to the mainland by a string of long bridges. Recent mapping updates suggest the Keys stretch farther east than originally expected, threading through multiple connected islands rather than one straight shot. Expect island highways, open water, boat runs, and the kind of warm-weather trouble that comes with having a hundred tiny islands to hide on (or get caught on).

Mount Kalaga National Park

Sitting on the northern edge of the state — and in some newer reconstructions, right up against the state border — Mount Kalaga is the closest thing GTA 6 has to Red Dead Redemption terrain. Forests, mountains, canyons, and rivers replace the coastline entirely, with hunting and off-roading called out specifically as things to do out here. It's officially confirmed as one of the six named regions, but Rockstar hasn't said how much of the park is actually explorable or whether it's hiding story content of its own — so that's one to watch as we get closer to launch.

Port Gellhorn

Port Gellhorn is the west coast gut-punch of the map — a Gulf Coast city that Rockstar built as the "what happens after the tourists leave" story. Think former vacation town gone economically sideways: cheap motels, shuttered attractions, empty strip malls, and a local economy that's leaned hard into drugs, alcohol, and energy drinks as its primary moneymakers. It's got its own local transit lines and a heavier crime presence than most of the map, with dirt bike and ATV culture baked into the identity of the region. The name's widely believed to be a nod to journalist Martha Gellhorn, and the real-world inspiration draws from Gulf Coast industrial towns like Panama City.

Vice City

Vice City is still the crown jewel — the most-shown location in both trailers and the beating heart of Jason and Lucia's story. It sits on the southeastern coastline (not dead-center like a lot of early fan maps assumed), and it's the most densely built city Rockstar has ever put together. You've got the neon nightlife corridor everyone associates with the name, pastel art deco hotels lining Ocean Beach, a genuinely dense downtown skyline full of glass towers, and working port facilities that anchor the industrial side of the city. Basically: if Miami and 1980s excess had a baby and gave it a current-gen graphics engine, that's Vice City.

Six regions, one wildly ambitious state, and a release date that's finally close enough to touch. We'll keep this updated as Rockstar (or the leak community, let's be honest) reveals more.
